1. Background:

Developing Skills Organization (DSO) was recently formed by a group of experienced NGO staff who are committed to continue the support of disadvantaged Cambodian children for their basic needs after reintegration from another NGO shelter and in the poor local communities, providing education, foreign language, and literacy as well as vocational training skills to children, youths and also their parents.

Our first project was named Provide Education to Poor Children and Youths in the Communities (PEPCYC Project) which established a local community language school near the dump site in Svaymean Leak village, on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, in 2011.
